Main Article Content
Abstract
This study developed a proposed model to enhance the performance of school leadership in Saudi Arabia through digital applications, leveraging relevant international experiences. Using a descriptive survey method, a questionnaire was administered to 56 school support supervisors in Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah Region, achieving a 100% response rate. The instrument covered fifteen items across three main dimensions. Results showed the overall level of proposed mechanisms for developing school leadership performance was moderate (mean: 3.07). The dimension for developing infrastructure and funding mechanisms scored a moderate level (3.30), as did the dimension for developing human capacities and professional skills (3.15). The dimension for developing frameworks and policies also recorded a moderate level (2.76). Key development priorities identified were strengthening school leaders' digital competencies, enhancing technological infrastructure, and establishing clear digital governance policies.Based on the findings, the study proposed a model built on three core components: enhancing leaders' digital competence and transformational leadership skills, activating integrated administrative and technical support systems, and establishing a national framework for digital educational governance. Recommendations included adopting sustainable digital professional development programs, updating administrative policies to support digital transformation, and strengthening educational and community partnerships
