Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aimed to explore the status-quo of middle school mathematics teachers' attitudes toward using certain artificial intelligence (AI) applications in teaching. The study employed a descriptive methodology and relied on an attitude scale as a tool for data collection. The sample included 280 middle school mathematics teachers, categorized by gender and qualification. The results indicated that teachers' attitudes towards using AI applications in planning mathematics lessons were moderate, while their attitudes toward using AI in implementing and evaluating mathematics instruction were low. Additionally, there were no statistically significant differences in responses due to gender. However, there were statistically significant differences in responses based on qualification, favoring those with educational qualifications.
