Abstract
Abstract:
The present study aimed to identify the degree of attitudes held by female students at Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi College toward the teaching profession. It also sought to determine whether there were statistically significant differences at the (0.05) level in the students’ responses regarding their attitudes, attributable to academic specialization or educational level. A questionnaire was designed comprising three dimensions and a total of 24 items, and it was administered to 173 female students from the College’s Sharia Department. The results revealed that the overall level of attitudes of Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi College students toward the teaching profession was high, with a total mean score of (3.86) across all dimensions. Furthermore, the results of the Kruskal-Wallis H test indicated no statistically significant differences among participants’ responses in any of the three dimensions—attitudes toward working in the teaching profession, attitudes toward the social and economic status of the teaching profession, and attitudes toward teachers’ personal characteristics—attributable to academic specialization or educational level.
