Camel Colors in Ancient Arabic Poetry: An Analytical Descriptive Study

Abstract
Camels have an established place since ancient times in Arab culture in general, and their presence in ancient Arab poetry confirms their importance in Arab life; As a genuine intellectual, cultural, literary and linguistic component, it has had a significant impact on the formation of Arabic literature throughout the ages. The theme of this paper, "Camel Colors in Ancient Arabic Poetry: A Descriptive Study," is of such importance and in line with these insights; This is because it aims to emphasize the importance of camels, the beauty of their colors in the life of the Arab, and its culture since the Jahili era, and to show the role of colors in the multiplicity of descriptions of camels among Arab linguists, writers and poets, and knowledge of colors, and their synonyms with which old Arab poets described camels, and employed them in the structure of their poetic texts, and highlight Its linguistic connotations, its artistic or aesthetic value in the ancient poetic text; This is done through an analytical study. The topic of the research paper required an introduction and three topics, namely: The first topic: Camels and their importance in the life of the Arab man. Second topic: Description of camels according to their colors in language books and literature. Third topic: Camel colors in ancient Arabic poetry. The researcher hopes that the topic of this research paper will constitute a new scientific addition in the Arab Cultural Library; There was no previous study that addressed it with descriptions and critical analysis.
