Abstract

This study addresses the role of knowledge policy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in establishing doctrinal immunization to confront intellectual deviations. It discusses the foundations that contributed to confronting deviant thought and limiting its influence, in addition to highlighting the main mechanisms that the Kingdom has pursued to provide a safe environment that protects society from destructive desires and deviant ideologies. It further instilled religious and national values within society, strengthened national identity, and promoted the approach of moderation and balance. The study also points out the most significant positive effects of such policies, whether at the educational, social, or awareness levels. These policies contributed to raising the level of societal awareness, helped curb the spread of deviant ideologies, countered extremism and radicalism, and safeguarded society against them.
