Abstract
This study concentrated on the poem “Rayhanat Al-Kaun” (contemplating about the Moment of the Noble Birth of the Prophet in the Banu Hashim clan) by Abu al-Tayyib Muhammad ibn Ali al-Umari. This was done by conducting a stylistic study at syntactic and semantic levels. The study concentrated on the applied section, because application is what reveals to the recipient the aesthetics of the text and It gives him a broad view of multiple perceptions. The poem was approached through several stylistic structures, represented by the syntactic and lexical phonetic structures, which are the levels that lie within the language of the text to reveal its connotations away from external contexts. Although some hints appeared about those contexts, whether in relation to the poet’s culture or his environment, these hints were revealed by analyzing the language of the text. The results of the study revealed that the stylistic analysis of the phonetic structure showed the predominance of Aljaher , Al -Estifal and Al-Enfitah. The voices of Aljaher were expressive of the poet’s feelings of pride in this great and noble Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. Results of the study also showed that the lexical structure highlighted an intense presence of prominent semantic fields, such as: The field of light, perfume, and jihad. The field of jihad was the most prominent, reflecting the poet's historical culture, as well as his awareness of the pains and wounds of the present, and hopes of the future.
