Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aimed to identify the emotional and behavioral issues, occupational issues, and family and social issues among children with disabilities from the perspective of their mothers. The descriptive method was used in this study and the questionnaire was used as a tool to collect the study data. The study sample consisted of (409) mothers of children with disabilities, and the study reached a set of results that confirmed that children with disabilities (the study sample) face occupational issues while they do not face any family and social issues and they do not suffer any emotional and behavioral issues, In light of the findings, a number of recommendations were made, including the need to provide guidance and awareness programs for families of children with disabilities, raising awareness of the role of social work in caring for children with disabilities, educating families about leading and supporting ways to care for children with disabilities, especially with regard to professional issues, and calling on researchers to conduct more studies related to children with disabilities on different aspects than those addressed in this study
