Abstract

The current study aimed to investigate the role of sustainable development in overcoming learning difficulties from the perspective of learning difficulties teachers in the Al-Jouf region. The study sample consisted of 38 learning difficulties teachers from public schools in the Al-Jouf region. The study utilized a descriptive survey methodology to achieve its objectives and employed a questionnaire on the role of sustainable development in overcoming learning difficulties, encompassing three main dimensions of sustainable development (technical, social, and educational). The study results indicated that the role of sustainable development in overcoming learning difficulties was moderate. Additionally, the results showed statistically significant differences in the teachers' perceptions of the role of sustainable development in overcoming learning difficulties attributed to years of experience. However, differences were not found in the role of sustainable development in overcoming learning difficulties attributed to the gender, Based on the results, the study recommended the necessity of using technology in education to enhance the learning experience, provide interactive and innovative educational tools to help students overcome their difficulties, and receive quality education.
